SMILING CROCODILE Kindergarten is a unique education programme focusing on education of children with severe complex needs, who have difficulty fitting into the current education system in Czech Republic due to their severe diagnostics or medical conditions.

We provide the education as well as intensive therapies for children from 3-7 years of age.

SMILING CROCODILE is registered as a Kindergarten and Elementary School for complex needs children by the Czech Ministry of Education and the Municipal office of Prague and received recognition as an exemplary education programme by the government's school inspection.

All of our teachers and therapists are trained in Sign Language and all forms of Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) which they apply and tailor to the very individual needs of our students based on their diagnostics, skills and possibilities.

The key teachers and the therapists speak English and other languages so we are able to offer education to children with native languages other than Czech.

The education programme is combined with music therapy elements which helps to support communication as well as the development of additional skills, emotions and the relaxation of the students. 

We work in small groups of children but also on an individual basis to satisfy the needs of each child and allow them to develop his or her best potential.

SMILING CROCODILE also provides various extensive programmes supporting the integration and inclusion of its students to mainstream society (i.e. Smiling Crocodile Band & Smiling Crocodile Broadway Theatre, art, sports).

Registration fee (one time): 3000 CZK
VAT is included in the price.
